You cannot actually bet on U SPORTS Basketball, we do not condone betting on sports, however if this is something you’re interested in this is how we assume the lines would look like for this week’s games.
Each week Jordan, Mitch and Ryan will pick against the spread six games for nothing but personal enjoyment. In advance, we’re sorry that your team wasn’t favoured, or that you can’t actually bet on these games.
After week two… our three “experts” are all .500 or a game above, which shows how we found guys that are juuuuuust good enough to pass.
Here are some lines that three Canadian University Students invented in their free time:
Brock @ Ryerson
The Line: Brock (-2.0)
Everything you know about Canadian University Basketball says take the Badgers tonight.
They’ve won their last two matchups against Ryerson, and are definitely not coming off a loss to the Western Mustangs.
Two key Ryerson rotation pieces (Manny Diressa and Adam Voll) are game time decisions and this game gives you a big opportunity to #FADETHEPUBLIC.
Mount Royal @ Lethbridge
The Line: Lethbridge (-13.5)
Lethbridge is trending in the right direction holding down the #11 spot in the most recent CUSN Media Poll, Mount Royal is in the right spot to play spoiler with Josh Ross trying to hold the Pronghorns within 14.
Ottawa @ Laurier
The Line: Ottawa (-6.5)
Classic matchup between James Derouin and Justin Seresse at Laurier. Both teams are playing some good ball right now, expect a closer than you expect game…
UFV @ Regina – Friday
The Line: Regina (-9.5)
Two teams we haven’t picked a game with yet this year, so time to buck the trend. Nice home line for Regina but Friday covers have been hard to come by in #CANWESTAFTERDARK.
Acadia @ St. FX
The Line: St. FX (-2.5)
Scary start to the AUS season as Acadia and Memorial came down to the wire last Saturday. FX coming off a pair of losses to Dalhousie and is at home on the brand new Coach K Court.
Concordia @ Laval
The Line: Concordia (-7.5)
A classic HOME DAWG…
PICK WITH CAUTION ESPECIALLY WITH A SUNDAY DAWG.
